VISIT THE THE EXHIBITION: A-FREE-KAN CANVASATIONS

In celebration of Africa Day, Vipingo Ridge is proud to host "A-FREE-KAN Canvasations," a vibrant and poignant art and photography exhibition curated by Mystic Breed. This event, showing at the Vipingo Ridge Club House, began on Friday, May 24, 2024, and runs until Sunday, June 2, 2024. The exhibition is more than just a display of art; it is a platform for dialogue and understanding, aptly named "Canvasations," where the artists share their inspirations and the stories behind their works. The creative spirit flowed into Sunday, May 26th, with the "Sundowner Sip & Paint" session. Jasmine led a workshop on painting décor on wood panels, offering participants the chance to create unique pieces while enjoying a relaxed afternoon at the Clubhouse.

Support for Artists in Exile

It's important to note that many of the artists exhibiting are refugees from neighboring countries, finding solace and survival through their art amidst political unrest. Your participation and support in this event not only enriches your cultural experience but also provides essential income and emotional healing for these talented individuals.

Exhibition Viewing

The art will remain on display throughout the half-term holiday, ensuring that as many members and guests as possible have the opportunity to experience this unique cultural event. All proceeds from art sales go directly to the artists, further supporting their livelihoods and creative endeavors.
