Vipingo Ridge is located in Kilifi County on the Kenyan coast. Just 35 kilometres from Mombasa, the estate can be found just off the Mombasa to Malindi Road.
A direct service from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport into Vipingo’s own airstrip provides easy access from the Capital. Guests can be collected from Mombasa International Airport.
The SGR train provides alternative transport from Nairobi and we can arrange a transfer from the station.
By Air
With a 1.5km private airstrip, Vipingo Ridge is serviced with flights from Nairobi's Wilson Airport operated by FlyALS, as well as through the regional airports of Malindi and Mombasa - both about 90 minutes away by car. There are also two private helipads located near the Clubhouse.
The airstrip and helipad provide hassle-free air travel for homeowners as well as greater flexibility and accessibility for visitors. These facilities are ideal for those wishing to fly in for a few rounds of weekend golf, to attend a conference or celebrate a wedding.
Airport transfers are available upon request from both Mombasa International Airport and Malindi Airport.
By Train - SGR
Enjoy the beautiful scenery of Kenya's diverse landscapes and marvel at our socio-economic transformation as you ride on the Standard Gauge Railway. The SGR makes it faster and cheaper to travel from Nairobi to the coast. The morning train makes a stop in Mariakani allowing you to use the scenic new road to Takaungu, a one-hour car ride from Vipingo Ridge which avoids the Mombasa traffic.
