Ladies European Tour

Vipingo Ridge has hosted the Ladies European Tour for four years.

The PGA Boabab Course is a recognised championship course. This LET event, the Magical Kenya Ladies Open is one of the most prestigious events on the Vipingo Ridge calendar.

The Ladies European Tour in Kenya

The LET is a global tour with world-class players who inspire fans across the globe. Many of the events are televised worldwide, including the Kenya event, bringing an international audience to Vipingo Ridge.

After a successful debut in 2019, the Magical Kenya Ladies Open in February 2022 and 2023 did not disappoint and Vipingo Ridge is a globally recognised championship course. In 2024 the tour returned, as the start of a 20-country Ladies European Tour (LET) with 31 events overall in 2024.

The 72-hole stroke play competition has proven a significant milestone in the history of the sport in Kenya and works to motivate the next generation of female players throughout the country.

Ladies European Tour at Vipingo Ridge

The third Magical Kenya Ladies Open at Vipingo Ridge in 2023 was ground breaking in Kenya.

For the first time a Kenyan golfer made the cut, playing through to the Sunday. Ultimately Aditi Ashok took home the trophy and it was a fantastic event for women’s golf and golf in Kenya.

Magical Kenya Ladies Open 2024

In the 2024 event rookie Shannon Tan took the trophy, her win also marking a first for her home country Singapore.
