BBC Screening: Stories of Hope from the Kenyan Coast

Conservation and community are two important drivers of progress at Vipingo Ridge. We are proud to present a unique opportunity for a one-night only event that gives a deeper look into the coastal conservation work we support. The presentation includes a screening and guest panel and will highlight some of the stories and the efforts to present the pioneering marine projects on our doorstep to a global audience.

We welcome back to Kilifi Ledama Masidza, Oceans Alive spokesperson and advocate in Marine Conservation and Indigenous Food Systems.

Recently returned from India as a panellist at the Habitat Trust Summit in New Delhi, Ledama will be introducing a series of short films he has created with the BBC, which we will show on screen. Ledama will also be hosting a panel of conservation stakeholders. There will also be a Q&A, with opportunities for the audience to ask questions.

The event will be a evening not to be missed. From seeing our amazing coastal setting on the big screen to discussions and learning about the work, refreshments will also be available at the Sundowner venue at Vipingo Ridge.

Arrival - 6:45PM
