Windsor Classic 2025: A Remarkable Performance | 7th – 9th March 2025
The prestigious Windsor Classic took place from 7th -9th March 2025, drawing top amateur golfers from Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda. Sponsored by NCBA, the tournament saw 144 of the best male amateurs compete, alongside six top female amateurs from Kenya.
Representing Vipingo Ridge, Naomi Wafula delivered an outstanding performance, emerging as the top female golfer and securing a top-10 finish overall.
Her remarkable achievement not only reinforced her growing status in the sport but also contributed positively to her world ranking points. Naomi credits her success to the rigorous training and high-quality facilities at Vipingo Ridge, which continue to bolster her confidence as she competes at higher levels.
Guest of Honor at St. Andrew’s Turi Scouting Parade | March 16th
Shortly after her Windsor Classic success, Naomi Wafula had the incredible honor of being the Guest of Honor at St. Andrew’s Preparatory School, Turi, during their Parade Service.
Addressing an audience of 250 pupils, their parents, and 120 staff members, she shared invaluable insights on the power of preparation and how it has shaped her journey in golf and beyond.
St. Andrew’s Turi holds a unique place in Kenya’s scouting history, having been visited by Lord Baden Powell, the founder of the scouting movement. The event was a celebration of their rich scouting heritage, intertwined with a spirit of gratitude and worship. Naomi’s presence and inspiring words resonated with the young audience, reinforcing the importance of discipline, dedication, and faith in achieving success.
