At the start on the 1st tee: Ijaz Sheikh, Bizzie Frost, Ushwin Khanna, Rose Musau and Richard Frost.

Hottest November on Record

It has been the hottest November at the Kenya Coast since records began. Sunday morning was no exception to a very hot and dry 10 days. After a gruelling four and a half hours in the 30c heat there were several impressive high scores from the 31 players.

The Seniors looked very distinguished in their yellow Society shirts. It was noted that the course has been dry but thanks were extended to the Green Keepers as the greens and bunkers were in very good condition.

Lunch at the Iconic Clubhouse

Overlooking the 9th and 18th holes, and maximising the breeze, the Clubhouse Veranda was the venue for the lunch and prizegiving.

After such a hot game, some well deserved cold juices and beers were served, with an excellent lunch, followed by prize giving.

Shaida Samji had an outstanding 40 points. (36 is the target)

Sue Williamson (Club Committee Member and Former Captain) and had a fine 35 points.

Duncan Mitchell played well and got the only "Two club", a birdie on a Par 3.

Thank you to the Seniors for joining us at the PGA Baobab Course and for the lovely feedback shared through our Captain Richard Frost.
