We welcome the latest programme to refresh all the status of facilities at the Kenya Coast through a structured series of activities and processes championing quality and excellence.
Training, Assessment and Audit
In February 2025 coastal facilities were welcomed to attend a two-day training course to understand a new programme of standards and the mandatory audits to follow for the assessment of a number of key areas.
Ranging from in-depth interviews with the team at random, to visually reviewing the facilities across every element of Vipingo Ridge, the audit scope was broad.
From the team changing rooms and dining facilities to laundry processes, guest accommodation features to security protocols, kitchen layout flow to swimming pool PH levels, our standard operating procedures and the robustness of the processes were reviewed and evidenced during the site visit. There was also helpful feedback being provided by the TRA experts during the engaging sessions.
The scoring criteria was based on many facets to meet the standards, and the bandings of the scores set into Bronze, Silver or Gold classification.

We have enjoyed the process to refine our approach to delivering an excellent experience for guests and our Members, and our team have worked hard to take on board the feedback, to continue to learn and grow.
The official audit results have been received, with a score well within the criteria for the top grade in the audit: Gold.
