Awesome showdown at the International MotoX
Vipingo Ridge Motocross track was the venue for the final showdown of both the Kenya National MX Championship and the Central Africa Championship (CAC) on 14th and 15th December 2024.
This double hitter meant that riders travelled from Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania to compete in the various race classes.

Moving Parade of the Central African Countries Represented
Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania all participated in the parade to bring together the three nations as the competition began.
Local Talent
A Vipingo Ridge event would not be complete without supporting local talent. One of our priorities when we are selected as a venue is to work with the clients to find appropriate ways to involve our community and to celebrate Kenya.
We were captivated by local dancers and acrobats (who will be returning for our Circus event - tickets available!), our food was an eclectic mix of local vendors and Kenyan companies, such as Delia’s icecream, providing local flavour for all tastes. Our DJ that kept the tunes going all weekend and of course our local teams of Marshalls all made the event a great success. Over 200 children from the local schools to Vipingo Ridge were invited to take in these amazing sights and sounds as our guests.

The Results
Ultimately Uganda were victorious. It was hard fought in many of the race classes, MX50cc, MX65cc, MX LITES, MX 125, MX2, MX1, VMX, Masters, and WMX but the points were in Uganda’s favour.
Thank you to the event organisers Mombasa Motor Club (MMC) and Motorsport Federation Kenya (MSFK) for choosing Vipingo Ridge as their venue for this exciting event.
